ASSOS TACTICA Kieskäfer Women's Gravel Bib Shorts T5 are off-road bib shorts blending performance and durability for competition and adventure riding alike, refined with integrated storage, a more compressive textile, and a simplified, weight-saving construction.
Gravel and singletrack performance, upgraded – the TACTICA KIESKÄFER T5 replaces the previous version with a lighter, more breathable, and more compressive construction. The key upgrades are the Type.911 textile, and the stabilizing rollBar, which are adapted from the Racing Series, bringing high-intensity road performance to off-road riding. The thigh pockets are also larger, granting expanded storage for easy access to ride essentials and fuel. For the T5 generation, the insert is updated with more shock-absorbing foam, muting chatter and smoothing repeated impacts on gravel and trails.
Technology
FEATURED FABRICS
Type.911 is a warp-knit textile with a silky-smooth, abrasion-resistant texture that provides stabilizing compression in a deeper, fuller black than the previous model. It's also hydrophobic and dries quickly, preventing weight gained through lingering moisture, and is equipped with odorControl properties and UPF 50+ protection. The pockets are created with panels of K-Net, a supportive, breathable warp-knit mesh that wraps contents in stabilizing security.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
The TACTICA T5 mobility-enhancing fit is less aggressive than ASSOS racingFit, balancing streamlined, low-volume aerodynamics with multi-hour comfort and less restriction off the bike.

//rollBar: A patented bracing design adapted from the Racing Series. Stabilizes the insert and locks it in place as your weight transfers while sprinting, climbing, and cornering.
//zeroPressure Waist: A soft, highly elastic waist construction that improves comfort and hold at the waist, minus any pressure or pinching.
//PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band across the leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment is invisible from the outside but stabilizes fit and maintains grip while wet.
//Integrated Storage: Two triple-ramp thigh pockets securely stow ride essentials with easy access while the gravel or the trail demands full attention.
TACTICA WOMEN T5 Insert
//Shock-Absorb Damping Mono: A single, breathable layer of 11mm of off-road comfort, engineered to absorb the micro-shocks and vibration of gravel and singletrack.
//goldenGate 2.0: The insert is attached at front and rear with floating sides and center, letting it move with your body rather than against it. New cut-outs on the sides reduce volume and friction throughout the pedal stroke.
//3D Waffle: patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
