START: A Cervelo built with a mishmash of base level Shimano components some more than 15 years old.
FINISH: This bike was stripped down and rebuilt with a 2018 mechanical Campagnolo Chorus 11 speed groupset/ 50x34 compact crankset/ 11-29T cassette/ medium cage rear derailleur to give an occasional option to running 11-32T down the road. New modern shaped handlebars and stem. New Look Keo pedals. Retained existing wheelset with conversion of freehub to accept Campagnolo. Retained existing saddle. Ready for the 2019 cycling season.

START: While this cannot technically be considered a rebuild, this Colnago Arabesque in metallic black is an example of a classic steel frame build with a blend of a couple of NOS parts and current new 2018 drivetrain components.
FINISH: Campagnolo 2018 Potenza 11 speed groupset in silver version is complimentary to the original era (1983) of the frameset. 52x36 semi-compact crankset/ 11-27T cassette. A custom built wheelset with Campagnolo Record 32H hubs, Mavic Open Pro CD rims, Vittoria Corsa G+ 25mm tan wall tires. Finishing details are classic NOS parts; a San Marco Rolls saddle in white, a Cinelli stem with Cinelli Campione del Mondo mod.66 handlebars and white tape completes the package. Ready for the road!
