La Bicicletta delivered this custom Marinoni more than two years ago. Every now and then this bike transports its owner back to see us for a couple of espressos from our Rocket coffee machine. Such an enjoyable bike for the owner.
Details of the build as follows: Marinoni Retro SL 54cm frameset with a custom paint scheme, colour metallic red and the gold outline"ancien" Marinoni lettering style. Chrome front forks and chainstays add a little classic glitz to the overall impression. Campagnolo Chorus 11 speed groupset, 170mm, 50-34 crankset and 11-29T cassette. The wheels are a custom build comprised of Campagnolo Record 32H hubs on Mavic Open Pro rims. A durable, dependable and easily serviceable wheelset. A virtually forever wheelset. Vittoria 28mm tires smooth the ride on bumpy Toronto streets.
The original saddle was a Brooks Professional with the currently retained matching Brooks leather handlebar tape. Evolution brings the San Marco Regal saddle. Deda handlebars and stem control the trajectory.
