Jena Hybrid has a carbon monocoque frame and fork. The frame’s geometry is similar to the Jena, offering a performance endurance ride combined with a comfortable ride position for long hours spent in the saddle.The Jena Hybrid features traditional components like hydraulic disc brakes, 11 speed transmission and carbon or aluminium rims. The only component added to the traditional configuration is the rear hub containing the 40 Nm Ebikemotion motor to assist pedalling.The motor is powered by a 250 Wh battery perfectly integrated inside the frame’s down tube. System control (on, off and monitoring) is controlled by the iWoc button installed on the handlebar, allowing the rider to choose Jena Hybrid's various assistance modes.
There are practically no limits on Jena Hybrid’s usability and to the available configurations. The clearance between frame / fork and wheels allows you to install generously sized tires on 28” wheels or 650B MTB wheels. With 28” wheels you can install tires up to 44 mm wide, whereas with 650B MTB wheels, you can install 48 mm wide tires, equivalent to 1.95” (tested on Vittoria tires). There are numerous available supports that allow the installation of bottle holders, bags, carriers and mudguards. On the front fork, for example, you can install two bottle holders or one lowrider carrier for bags.
THE FEEL OF A NORMAL GRAVEL BIKE
The motor is positioned inside the hub of the rear wheel so the lower bracket can be sized like that of a regular bicycle. This lets you install standard chainsets. This solution maintains the pedalling sensation of a traditional bicycle.
IMPROVED RIDING SAFETY
We improved riding safety by installing the iWoc button on the handlebar. The button is installed with a support on the handlebar, so riders can interact with the Ebikemotion system while keeping their hands firmly on the handlebar. On the Jena Hybrid, riders can select the assistance level and check the battery charge while keeping both hands on the top of the handlebar for safe off-road riding.

The X35+ PAS includes a series of components that integrate seamlessly into the latest racing bikes. Weighing just 3.5 kg overall (motor, battery, cables and controller), it’s one of the lightest PAS on the market. Our X35+ version uses the ANT+ communication protocol to connect to the most advanced cyclocomputers on the market.
MOTOR IN REAR HUB
The drive motor is installed in the rear wheel hub, engaging assistance fluidly and silently. When you stop pedalling, or your speed exceeds 25 km/h, power output stops with no sensation of braking friction.
40 Nm torque is perfect for road or light gravel use. This well-balanced power helps better manage battery life on faster and more competitive routes. The sensation when assistance engages is similar to when someone gives the bike a push on a hill or in a standing start.
250 WH BATTERY CAPACITY
Modest capacity perfect for lightweight pedal-assist bikes like our Hybrid series. The battery is small for easy containment inside the down tube. The system's total capacity gives you peace of mind for outings with major altitude differences.
INCREASE YOUR DISTANCE
Extra battery life expands your pedalling horizons. Battery capacity increases power delivery time by about 80%. The additional battery can be attached to the seat tube using the rivets for the second water bottle holder.
The lightest PAS on the market. The miniaturised components plus a hearty dose of technical characteristics provide record weight performance.
The system uses ANT+ to dialogue with third-party devices. This provides all kinds of additional information that can be displayed on the latest cyclocomputers, such as Garmin and Polar.
The truly lightweight motor’s maximal 250 W of power boosts pedalling effectiveness. The motor engages following the power delivery curve based on how you use the bike. Cadence triggers fluid and effective power with no feeling of resistance.
