The SILCA Chain Waxing System is the ultimate compact unit for immersive waxing of chains. The wax heater/warmer, drip stand and cable coupler are designed to effectively and quickly process chains ready to install. setting up your bike with the cleanest, quietest and most efficient drivetrain possible. A 600ml capacity wax heater/warmer, a drip stand and chain cable coupler use only a very small amount of workbench space. All the dripping/drying wax is recycled into the melting pot, preventing wasted wax and an associated mess.
The wax melter unit has a vented clear lid to retain heat while allowing visual verification that the SILCA Secret Wax is fully melted. Preset digital temperature control settings provide the exact temperatures for the chain waxing process. May be utilized with SILCA StripChip to wax a new chain with factory oil/grease in a single step, no degreaser process. Note: a used chain still needs prior cleaning with SILCA Chain Stripper to remove accumulated road grime and grit.
The chain hanging stand allows a no mess drying period and allows excess wax to drip right back into the pot to use for the next application. The notched base retains the heater/melter in place and holds the chain coupler securely in place. The chain coupler has a steel cable that is threaded on one side allowing it to be looped through your chain and secured on the other side. Dip your chain in the wax, agitate, and hang to dry.
