The ASSOS EQUIPE Winter Skin Layer P1 is a race-tuned, lightly insulating cycling baselayer for high-intensity riding in cool>cold conditions, engineered with increased protection on the shoulders and chest, balancing warmth and breathability

Layer number one is the hardest working piece of kit, which is why ASSOS revisited the baselayer/Skin Layer platform for 2026-2027 and returned with a few key updates dialed specifically for high performance riding/racing. The circular seamless construction is now better body-mapped, with thicker knit on the chest, shoulders, and sleeves and thinner knits on stomach and back. This targets insulation where it’s most needed and breathability in areas not as affected by windchill. The incorporation of new Dryarn material increases breathability, moisture management and odor control compared to the standard Spring Fall Skin Layers.
