Sometimes when we see a really nice bike from the past that shows up at La Bicicletta Toronto we like to share it with you. This is one of those instances.
A Colnago Master from the 1986 vaults of time. This is the original build from 1986 (with a few changes by the owner to make it comfortable to ride for him (seat and pedals) Looking like it was just newly built today this bike is cherished by its original owner and still ridden from time to time. Campagnolo C-Record was introduced in 1984 to replace the enduring Nuovo Record and Super Record groupsets produced for approximately 20 years. After a number of initial changes the C-Record main production was a much shorter run from only 1985 to 1992. A gradual evolution away from what could be considered pure C-Record started with the introduction of Campagnolo Ergopower and 8 speed.
Another great classic bike completely made in Italy. While we might not be able to obtain parts like this any longer we can perhaps create something special for you. Something that may become a future classic...

Campagnolo C-Record 7 speed Syncro groupset; 170mm crankset, 50x39 (quite unusual for the time), Regina Record drilled chain, 13-21 freewheel, Campagnolo C-Record handbuilt wheelset, in particular note the rare large flange version C-Record "sheriff-star" hubs. Campagnolo Cobalto brakeset.
