Colnago Arabesque ...it's all about the lugs! All from a discovery of an old box full of these unique lugs located in a forgotten dark corner of Ernesto's basement. Now back on the roads of the world.

We originally delivered this bike late in 2018 and when it came back to visit recently we couldn't resist taking a few photos of it to share with you.

This Colnago Arabesque in metallic black (Colnago color designation RADK) is an example of a classic steel frame build with a blend of a couple of NOS parts and current new drivetrain components. This combination provides modern function along with the retro look.

Build details: Campagnolo Potenza 11 speed groupset in the silver version is quite complimentary to the original era (1983) of the frameset. The 53x39 172.5mm crankset and a 11-27T cassette puts down the power. A custom built wheelset with Campagnolo Record 32H hubs, Mavic Open Pro CD rims, Vittoria Corsa G+ 25mm tan wall tires. Finishing details are classic NOS parts; a San Marco Rolls saddle in white, a Cinelli stem with Cinelli Campione del Mondo mod.66 handlebars. White handlebar tape completes the package. Ready for the road!
