The URTA SLR is Wilier's top tier full-suspension cross country bike. Made for fast cross country rides, this bike is what takes you from podium finishes to championships.* The URTA SLR uses Wilier's HUS-MOD carbon fiber - the same carbon used in their road race winning 0 SLR and Filante SLR . This URTA SLR features Fox's top of the line 32 step-cast fork with a Kashima coating, and a Fox Float DPS for the rear suspension.
What Is Fox Suspension?
The Fox Factory 32 step-cast fork features 100mm of suspension - perfect for fast Ontario cross country trails. The Factory line means that this fork is the same level that Fox's top athletes would race on. "Step-cast" indicates that this is part of Fox's super lightweight series, and thus, this is Fox's lightest fork at 2.98lbs. Lastly, the Kashima coating is a coating on the stanchions that increases lubrication and reduces wear in the fork.
The rear suspension - the Fox Float DPS - is the equivalent of the Fox Factory 32 fork on the front. 100mm of rear suspension in a lightweight chassis with a Kashima coating.
Both suspensions feature a remote lockout, conveniently placed on the integrated Wilier Urta carbon fiber stem/handlebar. The Urta carbon bar reduces weight and aids in compliance by absorbing small bumps and vibrations.
