The Bianchi Specialissima Comp is the entry-point to Bianchi's high-performance, third-generation Specialissima family, designed to be the ultimate all-rounder race bike with a focus on lightness and climbing prowess, but significantly improved aerodynamics for flat stages.

This new generation of the Specialissima was created with the objective of enhancing aerodynamic efficiency without compromising the legendary low weight and responsiveness of its predecessor. Bianchi's Reparto Corse (Racing Division) focused on areas like the head tube and fork to minimize drag, borrowing lessons from the development of their pure aero bike, the Oltre.

The Climbing All-Rounder
The Specialissima is engineered to close the performance gap between a pure climbing machine and a pure aero machine. Bianchi states that the aero gains achieved in the new design lower the "tipping point"—the slope percentage where the Specialissima gains an advantage over a pure aero bike—making it faster on flatter roads and technical descents than the previous model. This means riders benefit from a truly versatile race platform, rather than one strictly reserved for mountainous terrain.

The COMP Build
The Specialissima COMP variant offers this cutting-edge carbon frameset at a more accessible price point than the top-tier RC and Pro models.

Frame & Fork: It uses the exact same new-generation Specialissima COMP carbon mold, featuring fully internal cable routing for a clean, aerodynamic look.

Performance Build: It is spec'd with highly capable, race-ready components to balance performance and cost. The full Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed electronic groupset provides lightning-fast, precise shifting and powerful hydraulic disc braking.

Cockpit and Wheels: To manage the price, the bike typically features reliable, quality components from Bianchi’s in-house brand, Velomann. This includes a Velomann stem and alloy aero-compact handlebar. The Velomann Palladium wheels, with a 33mm profile, are tubeless-ready and offer a competitive low weight, providing a responsive ride for climbing.

The result is a dynamic, exceptionally lightweight road machine that delivers the performance and aesthetics of a modern superbike, making it an excellent choice for dedicated racers and serious competitive riders.
