ASSOS R Winter Knee Warmers P1 are updated knee protection for cool, wet conditions, engineered with a warmer textile, water-repellency, and versatility for layering in fall, and spring.
Ideally suited for temperate days of early spring, late fall in Canada, the breathability and thermoregulating qualities of the R Winter Knee Warmers P1 provide total comfort in cool, wet, and windy conditions. The reference to the term "winter" in the name of this item refers to a Euro winter... our Canadian winter season is much colder.
The warmers’ textile is upgraded for increased warmth – even in wet conditions – and when the temperatures rise and the road dries, they still pack down to stow in a jersey pocket. For added versatility, the low-volume, second-skin fit layers easily beneath the GT Thermo Shell Pants, adding insulation to stormproof protection. For cool, wet spring or fall conditions, layer with the thermal ASSOS R Spring Fall Bib Shorts.

The RX Extreme textile is our most robust insulator from the RX family. It’s a brushed, thermoregulating warp-knit fabric with high breathability and a waterrepellent treatment – suited for racing in rain and wind with cool temperatures.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Our AEPD 11 racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback to envelope the body in 360-degree compression and stability. The grip is designed for security over or under bib shorts.
ENGINEERING
- Acqua Shield Tec: An eco-friendly water-repellent treatment that causes water to bead up and roll off the textile surface, maintaining a dry microclimate underneath.
- PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band across the leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment stabilizes the warmers and shorts, maintaining grip when wet.
- Raw Cut: Lie-flat, low-volume cuffs eliminate friction and bulky hems while layering with shorts and shell pants.
