The iconic SILCA Presta pump head (formerly Silca part# 30.0) has been updated during its transition to American production. The highly efficient push-on design securely seals on Presta valves with no levers or buttons to operate. Updated with air bleed button and depth control design requiring only 12mm of exposed valve to seal. Manufactured of aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum. There is a replacement SILCA elastomer seal #242 available when you need it. (available to purchase separately)
The gasket slips onto the valve stem with a positive and satisfying 'click', while the unique internal design geometry actually utilizes line air pressure to compress the gasket onto the valve stem: the higher the pressure that you pump, the harder it grips the stem!
