For Spring/Fall ride conditions, those ultralight mesh summer jerseys don’t cut it. Cold winds and cool weather necessitate added thermal core protection which is where the ASSOS Spring Fall SS Jersey TARGA steps in. This is the reason ASSOS designed a lightweight thermal jersey with short sleeves and climate-control features, providing for options to add and subtract warmers and a vest throughout the duration of a ride.
The main front panel is made by pairing summer-jersey Push Pull textile with a lightly insulating Tibet liner. Together, these two materials provide the stretchy, breathable, aerodynamic attributes of a standard race jersey, with a touch of heat-trapping insulation. The raw-cut sleeves are made of SONIC-SN, which is a highly elastic ribbed fabric that ensures a second-skin fit and features a brushed micro-sanded lining for added thermal protection.
The two reflective “valves” on the front of the shoulders serve as air vents, pulling in cool air from the outside and injecting it between the jersey’s two overlapping layers of fabric. When riding hard yet still needing a touch of body-cooling ventilation, unzipping isn’t always the best option. This design results in a regulated core body temperature, without sacrificing aerodynamics.
