Rapha merino wool socks are the finest cycling-specific socks in the world. The socks use a new blend of yarns, including luxurious merino wool. This natural fibre wicks sweat better than any synthetic, keeping you cool and dry in the summer and warm in colder weather. It is also naturally anti-bacterial so, unlike polyester, the socks won’t smell after repeated use. The socks also have hand-locked seams at the toes to prevent rubbing and are reinforced at the heel.
*The Merino Socks come in 2 different blends: a light merino blend, and a heavy one. They can be differentiated by the stripe count - 4 stripes at the cuff indicate the light blend, and 2 stripes at the cuff indicate the heavy blend.
*Light blend - 42% Merino wool, 40% nylon, 18% elastene. Recommended for summer evenings and spring/fall riding. A great all season sock.
*Heavy Blend - 70% Merino wool, 25% nylon, 5% elastene. The heavier percentage of Merino makes this a great cold weather winter sock.
