Zipp’s ultimate aero weapon, the 858 NSW Carbon Tubeless Disc-brake wheelset, is now faster than ever, thanks to the brand’s proprietary Total System Efficiency (TSE) technology. Equipped with a tubeless and hookless rim profile, this wheelset delivers a seamless tire interface and a significant reduction in weight. It offers the aerodynamic advantages of deep-section rims while maintaining a weight typically associated with rims 20mm shallower.

With an internal rim width of 23mm, the 858 NSW is optimized for wider tires run at lower pressures, which reduces rolling resistance. This is a core principle of TSE, designed to address and overcome the four primary barriers to speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses.

The 858 NSW features an undulating rim depth of 82mm to 85mm and Zipp’s patented Sawtooth profile, which enhances aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. Constructed using Carbon Internal Reinforcement (CiR), the rim is 10% lighter while maintaining the same strength as previous iterations.
