Keep all your spares in a compact, rattle free seat pack. The Mattone Grande can hold up to 3 road tubes and everything you might need on the side of the road or trail. Translated from Italian, meaning "brick", the Mattone is SILCA's award winning seat pack powered by the Boa Closure System.
With the new Mattone Grande, SILCA have now created a 'bigger brick' with 77cc of internal volume, more than 2x the volume of the original Mattone (36cc). The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool. This is ideal for those long adventure rides or races where you need to be prepared for everything.
Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA Closure completes the package. With more than 15x the holding power of Velcro, the BOA closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact. This ensures the Mattone will remain ‘high and tight’ under your saddle until you need to access it... no swinging, swaying, or rattling... ever!
