The ASSOS TRAIL Spring/Fall Hooded Jacket checks all the right boxes, complete with light insulation, breathable materials, an all-road/trail-focused fit and protective features throughout. For those cool spring and fall conditions, where the temperature often fluctuates.
Knowing the front half of our bodies, shoulders and head take the brunt of the elements, ASSOS targeted these areas using an all-new ultrasoft, flexible material called RX TECH Melange. This beautiful blended fabric is brushed on the interior to add a light insulation barrier, which is especially welcome on those long, flowy descents from high elevations. The tall collar on the scuba-style hood works as a built-in neck protector when zipped to the top and it's worth noting the hood itself is not helmet compatible. This to keep your head warm pre- and post-ride, while during the ride itself the neck protection is sufficient, without the chance of overheating.
The back panel of the jacket is circular-knit Triangle textile, a light, flexible material that breathes exceptionally well and pulls moisture away from the layers below. The sleeves are ASSOS RX fabric-which is lightly brushed on the inside for a touch of extra insulation. The elbows are protected with abrasion-resistant ASSOS dyneRope fabric. The jacket is trim and fitted for the all-road/trail use but still flexes into casual duty without skipping a beat. The double-slider zipper means you're able to open the jacket from the bottom or ventilate the traditional way from the top. Inside is a single stash pocket inside for small items, which has a built-in "lid" to keep them secure.

RX TECH Melange: A brushed grey circular-knit fabric developed to provide exceptional comfort, wick moisture, add moderate insulation, and remain extremely flexible.
RX: A brushed bi-stretch warp-knit fabric developed to wick moisture and add light insulation.
Triangle: An interlocking circular knit with mono-stretch for vertical stability. Ultrasoft, UPF 35 and featuring excellent printability.
dyneRope: A high-density woven textile with ripstop weave. Fifteen times stronger than steel, this fiber is blended with a black polyethylene and is strategically placed to protect exposed areas from abrasion.
Internal Ramp Pocket: Stash pocket with fabric "lid" sewn in for, trail passes and other small items.
Double-Slider Zipper: Adjust to the conditions with the option to unzip from the bottom for added breathability.
trailFit: Follows the body's natural motions in and out of the saddle -trim but never restrictive. A comfortable, versatile fit that's perfect for an array of off-road riding applications, whether one hour or all day.
