The main textile used for the jacket is ASSOS NEOS Medium. This 3-layer softshell is equipped with a PU bonded membrane, which translates to a highly breathable, water-resistant, insulating and 100% windproof fabric that ensures you stay fully shielded from icy winter air, rain and snow. ASSOS paired this winterproof barrier with body-mapped panels of the new RX EVO+, added to the upper arms, side panels, back and helmet-compatible hood, to manage moisture and keep the breathability levels high. This combination creates armor from the elements and exhaust ports throughout, yielding a warm, dry ride in challenging conditions with varying levels of physical output.
Materials defined, ASSOS honed the details from the top down. With cues from the Spring/Fall platform here, notably with the scuba-style hood that features built-in neck protection when fully zipped. The hood itself smoothly integrates with your helmet, with an under-the-helmet design and proprietary klikThru strap slot, ensuring unobstructed vision and frictionless comfort. The elbows are wrapped abrasion-battling dyneRope material and you’ll notice the cargoZip along the left side, which offers access to the contents of your rear pockets underneath. A single stash side pocket for small items is on the front right.
Cut in ASSOS trailFit, the jacket is trim and fitted for the trail bike but still jumps into comfortable off-bike duty without issue. The double-slider zipper means you’re able to open the jacket cape-style for the grind to summit, or ventilate the traditional way from the jacket top.

RX EVO+: Used for the upper arms, hood, and lower back. A brushed warp-knit with asymmetrical stretch and ECO water-repellent, it provides exceptional comfort, wicks moisture, adds high levels of insulation, and remains extremely flexible. dyneRope: A high-density woven textile with ripstop weave. Fifteen times stronger than steel, this fiber is blended with a black polyethylene and is strategically placed to protect exposed areas from abrasion.
klikThru: Scuba-style hood promotes unobstructed vision, is designed to be worn under the helmet when needed, and features a pass-through section for the helmet strap.
cargoZip: Side zipper for accessing rear pockets’ cargo.
Double Slider Zipper: Adjust to the conditions with the option to unzip from the bottom for added breathability.
