The Continental Hometrainer clincher tire is designed with a special cold-running compound for use on an indoor resistance trainer. This tire does not experience the heat buildup of a road tire, nor does it suffer the tread separation that a road tire is prone to under the special loads occurring with an indoor resistance roller trainer.
Note: Indoor use only. Please do not use this tire on the road. It uses a thicker, harder rubber compound and provides very little grip on an outdoor road ride. Also please note that this tire is no longer made in orange and only available now as an all-black version.
