What is photochromic?

Photochromic lenses are a clear lens that, when exposed to UV rays, progressively become darker. While they will never be as dark as a black or mirrored lens, they are perfect for the early morning and evening cyclist who needs a clear lens for one half of the ride, and a smokey lens for the other half.
